How MVA uses AI
Last updated 20 January 2026 · Applies to MyVirtualAdmin (myvirtualadmin.ng), operated for businesses in Nigeria.
Ask MVA is an AI assistant that drafts your admin for you. Here's exactly what it does, what it sees, and where you still need to use your judgement.
What it does
When you ask MVA to do something — draft a payment reminder, summarise what's outstanding, write a proposal — it reads the relevant parts of your workspace and produces a draft in your business's voice. Nothing is sent to a customer automatically; you always see and approve the text first.
What it sees
Your business profile (name, services, branding, tone), and summaries of your customers, invoices, expenses, tasks and documents. It does not see other businesses' data, and other businesses never see yours.
Where the processing happens
Your prompt and the workspace context are sent to a third-party AI model provider to generate a reply. That provider is contractually restricted from using your data to train their models. Conversations are stored in your workspace so you can come back to them, and you can delete them.
What it can get wrong
- Money amounts, dates and totals — always check these against the actual invoice.
- Names and spellings of customers or businesses.
- Anything that sounds confident but isn't in your records.
- Legal, tax and regulatory matters — MVA is not a lawyer, accountant or tax adviser.
Treat every draft as a starting point from a helpful assistant, not a final answer.
Staying in control
You choose what goes into your business profile, so you decide what MVA can use. You can clear conversations, export your data, or delete your account from Settings → Privacy & data at any time.
